Stay Positive (with a little help from Bruce Springsteen)…

by Rob on October 10, 2009

A brief break from our regular survival tips…

While we are busy surviving, we need to remain optimistic and hopeful of better days to come…

I filmed this at the Springsteen concert in Giants Stadium on October 8, 2009 from the Pit… see all my videos on my YouTube account if you like The Boss…

Rob,

That is awesome…you were in Giant Stadium for Bruce. I’m officially jealous. Gotta love The Boss.

Hey…did I hear you doing a little singing there?

One question, “Was Bruce markedly better in New Jersey than he is at other venues?” Just curious.

Steve,

No big difference seeing him at the Meadowlands. But, this was the first time I’ve seen him in a stadium since 1985 and that is different compared with 15-18,000 indoors. It was a great show…

I was a wee little girl when Born in the USA came out. One of my girlfriends gave me the cassette (remember those…) for my 9th birthday – almost a year after its realease and it was scandalous! His tush graced the cover and forever changed my attitudes towards males.

Still lvoe the cute tush!

I think I was in high school when Born in the USA came out – ooooo Kate’s just a young ‘un! I still love his version of Santa Claus in Coming to Town!

Old and Young enjoy Born in the USA. One of the best albums ever. Glad you had fun at the concert.

Hi Rob,

Oh, the old Asbury Jukes. Sigh. Yeah, well, you see, I’m FROM New Jersey. And I remember him from his super skinny youth look, scrawny and underfeed. So great to see him. BRUCE! still has The Juice!

Thanks very much for sharing this with us. :-) I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Bruce is enjoyed by many age groups. I’ve seen him a couple three times and he always got every one a singing and toe tapping. Haven’t been to a concert for awhile.
